Privacy

Lotus Apps collects no data, and keeps none. There is no account to close, and nothing here to delete.

Check-ins live on the device. If you are signed into iCloud, they can sync through Apple’s private CloudKit database, under Apple’s privacy policy. Lotus Apps cannot read that collection, reset it, or restore it from this end.

Sentry

The one third-party SDK in the app is Sentry, and only for faults. If the app falls over, a crash report can be sent there: what threw, where, on what model of device, running what version. It is not linked to you. It is not used for tracking. There is no identifier, no user id, no IP address, and no screenshot of what was on screen. Nothing is sent from a development build. Lotus Apps does not keep a copy.

On Apple Watch, third-party crash handling is not available. Watch crashes, when they are delivered at all, come through Apple’s own tools.

Sentry’s own policy is at sentry.io/privacy.

Weather

The onsen can follow the sky where you are. Apple WeatherKit may receive a coarse location, when the app is in use, at an accuracy of kilometres — enough for rain, useless for a street. Lotus Apps does not receive that fix, does not store it, and does not put it in a crash report.

Refusing the prompt is a final answer. The rest of the app carries on. The sky is simply clear.

This website

This website sets no cookies, loads no analytics, and includes no third-party scripts. That is a product decision, not an omission.

Children

Bobara is rated for 4+. It is not in the Kids Category. There is no reason to collect anything from a child, and nothing here is designed to.
